memoir ideas
for my memoir i was contemplating doing it on what i learned from landscaping/manual labor opposed to working in retail or a job that doesn't require getting your hands dirty. also the idea of if you have to do harder work such as manual labor you can get paid more than an entry level job with a college degree.

The key is to really show us what this type of work is like, with vivid descriptions, then to figure out what you want to say *about* manual work. There's a book by a writer named Mike Rose about manual work--his main point, I think, is that it involves much more "intellectual" work than most people imagine, and that it should be honored much more than it is. What's *your* point?
